This tight budget thing is turning out to be SO MUCH FUN!!!

Let me give you a glimpse into the last few days!

I have been hitting all the local consignment and discount shops- looking for lamps, small tables, decorative items, etc. I have been having the best luck! Home Goods has been my favorite. I found a ginormous mirror there that will be perfect over my fireplace for $49.99!!! Wasn’t the color I wanted, but I got it anyway and painted it! Oh I can’t wait for you guys to see it, it’s so pretty!

Then yesterday I went with a dear friend to my first auction. If you have never been to an auction- you have to go! I’ll warn you- it’s easy to get way too into the competitive part of it- so don’t do that and blow your budget. I walked away with a carrara marble table with patina metal legs for $12!!! Now my biggest problem is using it in my model home and not my own house!! It’s so pretty!
